Retail Sales Associate/E-Commerce Specialist 261 Main Street, Falmouth, MA 02540 Hybrid work From $19 an hour - Part-time From $19 an hour - Part-time Retail Sales Leader/E-commerce Specialist Job Description We are seeking a part-time Retail Sales Leader/E-Commerce Specialist to join the team immediately! This is a hybrid position where the candidate will split time between working in our Falmouth retail store and at the corporate office, roughly 3 days per week or 15-25 hours. The ideal candidate lives an "On The Water" lifestyle. You enjoy the outdoors and have an appreciation for life on the coast. You have prior retail, e-commerce, sales, or customer service experience (1 or more years preferred). You are a detailed, highly organized person with enthusiasm and passion for working with people. Computer proficiency is required. There is potential for growth for the right candidate! Responsibilities (Retail): Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards Help the team keep the receiving and back stock area clean and organized Aid customers in locating merchandising in-store, on store.onthewater.com, as well as processing special orders Accurately ring on registers, maintain all cash at registers, issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked Resolve escalated customer complaints Responsibilities (E-Commerce): Report to the Director of E-Commerce & Retail Assist in processing new product shipments, packing e-commerce orders, maintaining inventory levels between the office and store Provide suggestions on new product ideas based on customer feedback and macro trends Deliver product to the retail store, as needed ​

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, customer service, or other related fields Experience using Shopify Admin & Shopify POS Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership qualities Experience using Shopify and Shopify POS (Point of Sale) (Preferred but not required) Reliable transportation Flexible schedule
