The Role:

In this dynamic, universal banking role, you'll assist members from start to finish with everyday transactions, account services, and lending solutions, while consistently identifying opportunities to improve their financial well-being. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
What You Will Do:
Deliver exceptional member service while promoting SPC Credit Union's mission, vision, and values. Assist members with teller transactions, account services, and financial solutions from start to finish. Open and maintain consumer and business accounts, IRAs, and share certificates. Originate consumer loan applications and guide members through the lending process. Identify member needs and recommend products and services that enhance financial well-being. Meet or exceed individual sales and service goals through relationship building and member outreach. Educate members on digital banking tools and emerging technologies to improve their banking experience. Accurately process financial transactions, maintain cash balances, and operate cash handling equipment. Resolve member concerns professionally while ensuring a positive member experience. Maintain compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and security standards. Effectively multitask across teller, member service, and lending functions using multiple software systems.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A high school diploma or GED. Three to five years of banking, financial services, or related customer service experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with a commitment to exceptional member service. Sales-minded with the ability to identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Demonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information. Proficient with computer applications and comfortable learning and using new technology, including video banking platforms. Dependable team player with the flexibility to travel between branch locations and attend occasional overnight training. Able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing routine cash-handling activities.
