Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision Provide product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging informed purchasing decisions Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible Upsell complementary products or services to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction Handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Support inventory management through stocking, replenishing merchandise, and conducting stock counts as needed Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership potential Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as making change and totaling transactions accurately Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as required Join us in creating an engaging shopping environment where every customer leaves satisfied!
