Overview Founded in 1972, Ken's SuperFair Foods began its journey in Aberdeen, SD, and has since expanded to five Ken's Food Fair locations serving neighboring communities. Ken's Food Fair in Clark, SD is seeking a full-time store director to lead daily operations in a retail environment dedicated to excellence. This position offers the opportunity to oversee day-to-day store operations, lead employees, manage inventory, and ensure customers receive the friendly service Ken's SuperFair Foods and Ken's Food Fair has been known for the past 50 years. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of daily store operations. Recruit, interview, hire, schedule, and supervise store staff. Manage product ordering, inventory control, and merchandising to maximize sales and profitability. Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, health regulations, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment. Assist with cashiering and carry-out services as needed. Provide exceptional customer service. Qualifications Retail/managerial experience preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
