About Ordnance.com Ordnance.com specializes in the acquisition, restoration, research, and sale of inert explosive ordnance and a wide variety of 20th-century U.S. military surplus items. Our customers include museums, collectors, military training organizations, and the film industry. We are a growing e-commerce company built around historical preservation, technical research, and unique military collectibles. Position Overview We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Product Listing & Sales Associate . This position plays a critical role in helping move inventory from acquisition to sale by creating professional product listings and supporting our sales efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, motivated, comfortable using computers and technology, and enjoys learning new things. A passion for military surplus is a plus, but we are equally interested in candidates who are passionate about producing high-quality work and continuously improving their skills. Responsibilities Clean and prepare inventory items for photography and sale. Photograph inventory items using company equipment. Record videos of products for website and marketing use. Edit photographs and videos for professional presentation. Conduct technical and historical research using ChatGPT and other available resources. Create accurate product descriptions using ChatGPT and company guidelines. Upload and manage product listings on company websites and approved online platforms. Assist with inventory organization and warehouse operations. Operate a forklift to move inventory throughout the facility (training available if needed). Assist with trade shows and industry events. Meet and interact with vendors and potential customers when required. Qualifications Moderate computer and internet skills. Comfortable learning and utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT. Strong attention to detail. Good written communication skills. Ability to work independently and stay focused on assigned tasks. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Passion for military surplus, history, collectibles, e-commerce, photography, content creation, or related fields is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand for extended periods. Ability to regularly lift and carry 30-50 pounds. Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment. Additional Requirements Must be able to pass criminal background checks. Must be able to pass random interval drug testing. Must be willing to travel occasionally for trade shows and company events.
