In this role, you will be the friendly face that helps customers find the perfect products, provides knowledgeable assistance, and ensures the store operates smoothly. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will contribute to a lively shopping environment, making every visit memorable. Whether assisting with sorting cards and inventory, managing sales transactions, or stocking showcases/shelves, you'll play a vital part in creating a welcoming and efficient store atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to meet their needs. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash register operations. Assist customers with product demonstrations and upselling to enhance their shopping experience. Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly. Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or team members over the phone. Assist in inventory management by stocking new products and conducting stock counts as needed. May require lifting of up to but not limited to 50lbs, as well as hot environments in certain cases. Skills Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales transactions. Knowledge of sports, sports cards, TCG, social media, merchandising, and retail operations is a bonus. Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales totals, discounts, and change calculations. Familiarity with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette approach. Experience in stocking, and inventory management to engage customers actively. Basic math skills for cash handling and cash drawer reconciliation.
