Assistant Manager Job Summary:

The Sales Associate at The UPS Store is responsible for delivering world-class customer service to all customers. This includes providing expert advice and solutions for shipping, printing, packaging, and mailbox services. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner. Assist customers with shipping, printing, packing, and mailbox services. Operate Point of Sale (POS) system, handle cash and card transactions. Prepare shipments, print jobs, and packaging to The UPS Store standards. Maintain clean and organized store appearance. Monitor and manage inventory of store supplies and products. Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and follow up with customer requests. Promote store services and upsell products when appropriate. Ensure compliance with all operational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, internet browsing). Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings, if needed. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Notary Public commission is a plus, or willingness to become a Notary Public preferred.
