Music & Arts seeks a part-time Senior Sales Associate to drive retail sales and support music education in our Store 6901. In this customer-facing role, you'll assist students, parents, and educators with band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons enrollment. Responsibilities include consultative selling, meeting sales goals, processing transactions, merchandising, and maintaining product knowledge. You'll also support school service efforts, provide exceptional service, and uphold a friendly, inclusive, student-focused store environment aligned with our mission. Responsibilities Provide consultative sales support for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals Assist students, parents, and educators with product selection and questions Process sales, rentals, returns, and lesson enrollments accurately Maintain merchandising, stocking, and visual standards on the sales floor Develop and maintain strong product and music education knowledge Deliver friendly, inclusive, and student-focused customer service Support school service and community outreach efforts as needed Handle basic troubleshooting and coordination for instrument repairs Uphold store policies, loss prevention, and cleanliness standards Required Skills Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Cash handling Product merchandising Customer relationship management Music instrument knowledge (band and orchestra) Inventory management Microsoft Office or similar basic computer skills Sales reporting and goal tracking Lesson and rental program administration
