Job Description

We're bringing on a Fundraising Team Member to support a national nonprofit campaign across the Dallas area - focused on prevention education for students and communities. As a Fundraising Team Member, your day revolves around real conversations: being out at events, speaking directly with customers, and helping people understand why the work matters enough to support it. This is a full-time, onsite Fundraising Team Member position where you're consistently in the field. You'll be interacting with customers in-person, representing the campaign, and using a structured sales approach to turn awareness into actual donations. Responsibilities of the Fundraising Team Member Represent nonprofit campaigns at community events and tabling setups throughout Dallas Speak directly with customers, introducing the mission in a way that is clear, direct, and easy to connect with Use a sales-based approach to guide customers from initial conversation into completed donations Keep interactions focused so customers stay engaged and understand the impact of their support Handle questions and objections while maintaining a positive, professional presence Track outreach activity and individual results to stay aligned with daily sales expectations Work alongside other Fundraising Team Member team members to maintain steady outreach and performance Qualifications of a Fundraising Team Member High school diploma or equivalent preferred Background in retail, hospitality, restaurants, or another customer-facing role is helpful but not required Comfortable speaking with customers throughout the day and managing in-person interactions Able to stay consistent in a performance-based environment where sales results matter Strong communication skills with the ability to keep conversations moving toward a clear outcome Available for a full-time, onsite schedule and able to start immediately This Fundraising Team Member role is centered around direct interaction - showing up in the community, speaking with customers, and turning those conversations into measurable support through sales.
