In this energetic role, you will engage with customers, provide expert advice on gardening, lawn care, and landscape maintenance, and ensure a seamless shopping experience. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and horticulture will inspire customers to create beautiful, functional environments. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting gardening supplies, plants, lawn care equipment, and outdoor décor Provide expert advice on plant identification, floral design, landscape maintenance, and horticulture best practices Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves efficiently to enhance product visibility Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and merchandise replenishment Offer exceptional customer service by answering questions via phone communication and in person Assist with outdoor work tasks such as plant care, landscape maintenance, and lawn care when needed Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in garden centers or outdoor retail environments Knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance, horticulture, and plant identification is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Experience with floral design or merchandising outdoor products is advantageous Outdoor work experience enhances your ability to thrive in this role's active environment Organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain attractive displays effectively Join us to turn your passion for gardening and outdoor living into a rewarding career where you can make a real difference in our customers' lives!
