Sales Associate

Overview We are a retail & cocktail bar store all in one! We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with sales and merchandising. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising strategies. Stock shelves and ensure inventory is well-displayed and replenished as needed. Assist in training new staff members, utilizing your supervising experience to foster a collaborative work environment. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or concerns over the phone. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations. Utilize daiquiri machines and create drinks for customers. Servers license will be paid for by employer. Experience Previous experience in retail sales is required, particularly in a smoke shop setting. Smoke shop experience is preferred, not required. Bartender experience preferred. Familiarity with cashiering duties and cash handling procedures is essential. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers. Strong communication skills are required for effective interaction with customers and team members alike. Experience in merchandising and stocking is beneficial for maintaining store presentation standards.
