Duties Operate the cash register efficiently, handling all retail sales transactions with accuracy and speed using POS (Point of Sale) systems Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales Maintain a well-stocked sales floor by assisting with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise according to merchandising standards Handle cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and reconciliation at shift end Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking orders Promote store promotions and upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales volume Support inventory management through stock replenishment and accurate record keeping of retail store product knowledge Experience Previous retail sales experience or grocery store background is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math ensures smooth transaction processing Supervising experience is a plus, especially when guiding new team members or assisting in training Bilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base Strong communication skills are essential for engaging customers effectively and providing clear product information Experience in merchandising, stock management, or product demos will set you apart as a proactive team player Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and transaction processing This role offers an engaging environment where your energy and dedication directly impact customer satisfaction.
