Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Sales Associate and become the driving force behind creating inspiring living spaces for our customers! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation Demonstrate furniture features and benefits via product demos to highlight quality, comfort, and style Assist customers in selecting products that match their preferences and budgets, upselling when appropriate Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to maximize sales potential Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments Support inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting regular stock checks Educate customers on product care, warranties, and available financing options to enhance their shopping experience Qualifications Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially in furniture or home goods environments Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions both in person and over the phone Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to create appealing displays that drive sales Knowledge of grocery store operations or similar retail settings is advantageous but not required Join us today to be part of a lively team dedicated to transforming houses into homes!
