Job Description

The Ticket Sales Intern is responsible for generating revenue through Season Tickets, Half-Seasons, and Groups on a commission only basis. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for sales, looking to further their career, and wanting to assist wherever they can. This position reports directly to the Sales Department and will receive top-notch sales training. About the

Professional Hockey Club is a member of the ECHL, the world's top Double-A hockey league, and is the affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Ottawa Senators.

Reports To:

Senior Director, New Business In person only

Responsibilities:

Prospect leads and clients for sales opportunities. Assist in the box office on game days Help sell Full Season, Half Season, and Group Tickets for Americans games. Represent the Allen Americans by attending festivals, parades and other community events that are coordinated by the team, which sometimes take place on the weekend. Provide excellent customer service and communication. All other duties assigned.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Education Requirements:

Currently enrolled or recent graduate of a collegiate sports management or business program. Ability to come into the Americans Front Office Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays A dedicated individual with a passion for ticket sales. Strong organizational and communication skills. Commitment to personal integrity and teamwork. Proficiency with the Google G-Suite family of office technology.
