Job Summary As a Counter Clerk / Dry Cleaning Attendant, you will be the face of Comet Cleaners, greeting customers, processing orders, handling garment drop-offs and pickups, and ensuring every customer receives outstanding service. No prior dry-cleaning experience is required—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service Receive and process dry cleaning and laundry orders accurately Tag, track, and organize garments for cleaning and pickup Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions Answer customer questions regarding services, pricing, and turnaround times Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front counter area Assist with garment inspection and order verification Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations Resolve customer concerns in a courteous and professional manner Qualifications Customer service, retail, hospitality, or cashier experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and professional appearance Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable using a computer and point-of-sale system Basic math skills for handling transactions Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required What We Offer Paid on-the-job training Friendly and supportive work environment Stable, year-round employment Opportunity for advancement as our business grows Employee discounts on cleaning services Apply Today!
