What we are looking for:

1097 Watersports, INC is seeking to hire part-time and full-time employees starting in March and going to the end of the year (October/November). We are looking for a unique individual who wants to grow within our company and wants longevity and stability. This person needs to be dedicated to "the details" and multi-tasking, wanting to deliver 5-star customer service daily! This person must be a quick learner, possess basic computer skills, and be proficient in time management. This position is a Front Desk position. It requires checking-in and out daily boat rentals. This position requires handling a high-volume multi-line phone, clear communication over a two-way radio system, and executing boat rental contracts and various administrative duties. This position can be very demanding and fast-paced at times. The ability to think on your feet and multi-task is a must! Due to the nature of the watersports/watercraft business, we are open 7 days a week (8 am-6 pm) and all major Holidays. This is a full-time position; weekends and holidays ARE required.

Our Staff performs a variety of functions. This position will be required to:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Greet and welcome all guests Answer all calls, answer customer queries, and take messages Each shift ensures to listen to voicemails and respond promptly and actively. Creating new bookings for customers via phone or in person Educating customers about rental and safety precautions before each rental. Perform cleaning tasks Daily cleaning and organization of the main office and store Assist the dock hand with vessels and life vests After each rental is completed, interact with customers after each rental and ask them to write a review of their experience. Respectfully resolving customer issues that may arise during the rental process. Escalating issues to the manager promptly. Remain professional and respectful towards coworkers and customers at all times. Be courteous and respectful. All other duties will be assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 years in customer service or related experience Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing Must be able to effectively communicate in person, via email, and via phone Flexible scheduling is a MUST. Must be available to work every weekend Must be available to work holidays (Memorial Day, Mother's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Labor day, etc.) Must be willing to learn about watercraft operations

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
