Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Smoke Shop Sales Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who has prior experience working in a smoke shop, vape shop, or retail sales environment and enjoys helping customers find the right products. The ideal candidate is dependable, knowledgeable, and able to provide outstanding customer service while maintaining compliance with all local and state regulations. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Assist customers with product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment Apply retail math skills for accurate pricing, discounts, and transaction totals Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors Support supervising staff in managing daily store operations when needed Engage in product knowledge sharing to educate customers about features and benefits Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery stores is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer interactions professionally Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist a broader customer base Experience in merchandising, stock management, and upselling techniques is advantageous Strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to multitask effectively are essential for success in this role
