Job Description

As a dual-role Crew Member and Cook, you will serve as the face of the store while maintaining the food service area. Your goal is to provide exceptional service, efficiently prepare quality food, and ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed. Core ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Cooking Prepare and cook food items (e.g., pizzas, sandwiches, fried chicken, breakfast foods) according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines. Operate and monitor commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, deep fryers, and warmers. Check and record food temperatures to guarantee compliance with all health, food safety, and sanitation standards. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace before, during, and after your shift. Restock food preparation stations, ingredients, and packaging materials. Store Operations & Customer Service Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and assist them with questions, complaints, or product locations. Operate cash registers (POS systems), process payments (cash, cards, EBT), and balance till receipts. Monitor floor inventory, stock shelves, and face products to ensure a welcoming store environment. Ensure age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol) are handled in accordance with federal and state laws. Receive inventory deliveries, verify packing slips, and report any discrepancies to store management. Work Environment Variable and flexible scheduling—candidates must be willing to work various shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays). Cross-training is expected. You may transition between the kitchen and the register depending on store traffic and breaks.
Pay:
$10.00 - $14.00 per hour
