Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service through active listening and helpful advice Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Manage cash register operations including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and retail math calculations Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining an organized sales floor Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and product placement Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or assisting via phone calls Engage customers with product knowledge, suggest complementary items, and promote ongoing sales initiatives Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations for seamless checkout experiences Previous experience in a retail/smoke shop setting preferred Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are a plus Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies Knowledge of grocery store or retail sales environments is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions Familiarity with retail store product knowledge across various categories Ability to stock shelves efficiently while maintaining safety standards Join us in creating positive shopping experiences that keep customers coming back!
