Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive memorable shopping experiences. Your proactive approach will ensure the sales floor remains inviting, well-stocked, and organized. Whether assisting customers at the register or guiding them through product features, you'll play a vital part in creating a lively and welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and boosts sales. Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits, enhancing customer engagement and driving sales Assist with merchandising efforts to keep displays attractive, organized, and aligned with store standards Stock shelves and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and freshness in a grocery store setting Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform basic math calculations with precision during cashiering duties Upsell relevant products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items to increase sales volume Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions Previous supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Strong communication skills to connect effectively with diverse customers.
