Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for accurate cash handling and transactions Assist customers with product demos, explaining features and benefits to encourage sales Upsell additional products or services to meet sales goals and improve customer satisfaction Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractive and accessible Manage inventory by stocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages Follow phone etiquette protocols when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Conduct basic retail math to handle cash transactions accurately and balance registers at shift end Qualifications Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures required Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous for growth opportunities Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos enhances performance in this role This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail expertise while delivering top-tier service.
