The ideal candidate will have a passion for Tabletop games (board games, card games, RPGs) alongside excellent customer service and sales skills, with the ability to create an engaging shopping experience for our customers. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, maintaining the overall appearance of the store, processing trading card trade-ins, managing in-store gaming events, and packing/shipping online orders. This would be a part time position for anyone looking for some extra money on the side who loves table-top and trading card games! We are flexible and can work with your schedule. mostly nights and one weekend a week (Fri or Sat) 2-4 days a week depending on availability. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner. Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently. Communicate product knowledge effectively to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are well-presented. Maintain a clean and orderly store by frequent sweeping, dusting, and cleaning floors, fixtures, and surfaces. Perform periodic inventory counts and maintenance. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining a positive shopping experience. Process trading card trade-in transactions. Pack and ship online orders. Manage in-store trading card events with utmost professionalism and customer service. Experience Previous experience in Tabletop Game / TCG retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, outgoing personality, and outstanding friendliness with the ability to engage with customers effectively. Basic understanding of cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the company. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
