DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Coordinates with the Store Leader for the training of all team members involved with scanning to include trainers, executive staff, managers, department merchants and clerks. Tests, verifies and scans all UPC marked items in store on a rotation basis. Frequent price verifying on direct-store delivery items is to be implemented. Ensures changes for all prices marked on all items, shelf tags and in-store signs. Ensures all in-store price markings are timely and accurate. Maintains exact correspondence with the in-store price file. Contributes to the profits and revenues of the store. Continually monitors pricing for errors and ensures they are corrected immediately. Maintains adequate and appropriate department records at all times. Updates price books on all price changes on a weekly basis. Supervises repairs and maintenance of scanning equipment. Is aware of product and department locations and assists guests with their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Attends and contributes to departmental, store and company meetings as required.

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with the possibility of frequent exposure to hot or cold conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Also requires standing, walking and bending throughout the entire workday and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.
