Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels effectively. Communicate effectively with customers and team members, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with cash register operations. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a grocery store setting is advantageous but not required.
