Job Description
Job Summary Job Summary The Retail Sales Associate provides excellent customer service, assists customers with product selection, operates the cash register, stocks merchandise, and helps keep the store clean and organized. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service. Assist customers with product questions and selections. Operate the POS system and process cash and card transactions accurately. Verify customer identification and age when required. Follow all laws and company policies regarding age-restricted products. Stock shelves, displays, and merchandise. Receive and organize inventory as directed. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store. Assist with inventory counts and report low or damaged merchandise. Follow opening and closing procedures. Maintain proper cash-handling procedures. Report theft, suspicious activity, or policy violations to management. Follow all company rules, safety procedures, and management instructions. Attendance & Reliability Arrive on time and ready to work for every scheduled shift. Follow the company's call-out and attendance procedures. Obtain management approval before changing or leaving a scheduled shift. Consistent attendance and punctuality are required. Qualifications Customer-service or retail experience preferred. Good communication and basic math skills. Reliable, responsible, and professional. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Must meet all applicable legal requirements for working with age-restricted products. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk during the shift. Ability to bend, reach, stock shelves, and lift merchandise as needed. Schedule Schedules may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
