Job Description
Overview The Inventory Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management within our organization. This position involves overseeing inventory levels, ensuring proper materials handling, and utilizing warehouse management systems to track and manage stock. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a keen eye for process improvement, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our supply chain operations. This position requires a thorough knowledge of Horse/Equine and Pet products Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular audits and reconciliations. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and ensure data integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support demand planning and optimize stock levels. Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions for inventory procurement. Assist in the development of best practices for inventory management processes. Skills Proficient in data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively. Experience with warehouse management systems is essential for tracking inventory accurately. Strong negotiation skills to foster positive relationships with suppliers and vendors. Knowledge of demand planning principles to align inventory levels with business needs. Ability to implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
