Job Description

Overview The Part-Time Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for delivering a welcoming, high-quality experience for members and guests. As a primary point of contact, this role supports daily pro shop operations, court and clinic scheduling, and promotes tennis programs and club services while working closely with the racquets team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Member & Guest Services
  • Greet members and guests and provide friendly, professional assistance
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and handle inquiries accurately
  • Maintain a calm, attentive, and courteous demeanor, even during busy periods
  • Promote upcoming tennis events and programs throughout the club Scheduling & Coordination
  • Manage court reservations, clinics, and lesson bookings in person and over the phone
  • Assist with filling weekly clinics
  • Engage members in positive conversations while ensuring accurate scheduling Pro Shop & Inventory Operations
  • Assist members with merchandise selection and product knowledge
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing pro shop and entry area
  • Monitor high-demand items (apparel, hats, balls, etc.) and restock as needed
  • Notify customers when special orders arrive
  • Support pro shop billing and inventory tracking Administrative Support
  • Assist with general office duties as needed
  • Provide support to the Director of Racquets, Tennis Professionals, General Manager, and Tennis Coordinator Additional Expectations
  • Follow all club policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times Schedule & Compensation
  • Part-time position: approximately 14-16 hours per week
Hours:
Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    Pay:
    $16.00 per hour, paid bi-monthly Preferred Qualifications
    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Previous customer service or retail experience
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a positive, proactive attitude
