Cashier/Sales Associate

Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales and improve the customer experience. Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting. Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and supporting product replenishment efforts. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers or vendors over the phone. Support supervising team members during peak hours or busy periods to ensure smooth store operations. Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently in both bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) environments is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing registers accurately. Familiarity with POS systems and retail sales processes is highly desirable. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks related to stocking and merchandising. Excellent phone etiquette skills for professional communication with customers and vendors. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with supervising experience preferred for leadership opportunities.
