Job Description
At Country Home Center, building strong customer relationships is our top priority. We take the time to understand our customers and their projects so we can provide the right products, advice, and support. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service while creating a welcoming shopping experience. Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance. Answer customer questions about Ace Hardware products in person and over the phone. Operate the cash register accurately, including handling cash transactions and counting back change. Process special orders. Perform inventory audits and stock shelves. Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and checkout area. Assist customers with finding products and completing their projects. Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds. Ability to bend, reach and carry products. Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Previous hardware store or retail experience is strongly preferred but not required. No prior Ace Hardware experience? No problem.
