Schedule Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday:

11:30 AM

• 9:00 PM (opening to closing)

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday:

• 9:00 PM (opening to closing) Position Overview A Retail Sales Associate provides excellent customer service, processes sales using POS systems, maintains store cleanliness, and restocks merchandise.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering product questions, and resolving issues to ensure a positive shopping experience. This role requires a strong sense of urgency, self-motivation, and the ability to take direction while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities and Duties Customer Service:

Greet customers, provide product information, and offer recommendations.

Sales Transactions:

Process payments (cash and credit), returns, and exchanges accurately using POS systems.

Merchandising:

Restock shelves and organize displays.

Store Maintenance:

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment. Keep sales floors tidy and shelves dust-free.

Inventory Control:

Assist with receiving shipments, picking up inventory from the on-site warehouse, restocking, and conducting inventory counts.

Required Skills & Qualifications Communication:

Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members.

Mathematical Skills:

Basic math skills for processing transactions and giving change. Class 2

DLC Certification:

Required for selling retail alcohol.

Flexibility:

Availability to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift, push, or pull moderate weights (up to 50 lbs).

Work Environment:

Ability to handle a loud and busy environment.

Product Knowledge:

Willingness to learn about products to advise customers effectively. Our Ideal Candidate Is Willing To Train in Yellow Dog inventory software used to receive merchandise shipments. Assist in all von Trapp retail outlets (Outdoor Center, Lodge Gift Shop, and Bierhall) as needed during shifts. Take on additional hours during foliage season (August
