Ticket Scanners are responsible for ensuring every ticket or season pass is validated each time the guest rides the lift. This involves engaging with and providing a first-class mountain adventure for each and every guest, communicating clearly and making split second decisions to ensure proper ticket validation. This is a seasonal position with part-time opportunities, paid at $20.00/hr. Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ensure RFID gate reads guests passes Assist with the orchestration, set up, and breakdown of maze Open and close pinch points as needed for maximum traffic flow Be aware of all ticket types and prices Assist and respond to guest inquiries Must have current information about the mountain and events Ability to troubleshoot RFID gates and tablet equipment Additional duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 14 years of age or older Able to work outside for long periods of time in inclement weather Reliable transportation to/from work Must be able to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment Able to communicate and problem solve independently Must be comfortable working with electronic equipment Ability to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis Actively pursuing a High School Diploma, or equivalent Previous customer service experience, preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
