Job Description

We are looking for team members who enjoy helping customers solve problems, learning about a wide variety of products, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. Position Summary The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers throughout the store. This role supports multiple departments and requires a willingness to learn product knowledge across a broad range of categories. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, mechanically inclined, and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance. Help customers identify products and solutions for their projects and repairs. Answer questions regarding product features, applications, and usage. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while serving customers. Department Support Assist customers and maintain merchandise in departments including, but not limited to: Paint BBQ and outdoor living Tools Hardware Plumbing Electrical Merchandising & Inventory Stock shelves and maintain organized, attractive displays. Build and merchandise promotional and seasonal displays. Assist with inventory management and product ordering. Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs. Ensure pricing and signage are accurate and up to date. Assembly & Store Maintenance Assemble merchandise and display products for the sales floor. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment. Assist with receiving and processing incoming merchandise. Qualifications Previous retail, hardware, home improvement, or customer service experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn product knowledge across multiple departments. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. What We're Looking For A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
