About the Role (What You'll Do) As a Retail Associate, you'll help keep Harbor Marine's convenience store running smoothly while providing friendly, efficient service to customers. In addition to operating the register, you'll help maintain the convenience store, apparel section, coffee area, and other customer-facing areas of the store. Day-to-day, you will: Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service Operate the register and accurately process customer purchases Keep the convenience store stocked, organized, and presentable Maintain and merchandise the apparel section Keep the coffee area clean, stocked, and ready for customers You'll also: Sort and distribute mail for our private mailbox customers Receive, organize, and put away merchandise as needed Identify products and supplies that need to be restocked Help maintain clean and orderly customer-facing areas Assist with other store tasks and projects as needed Light custodial duties including restroom and kitchen facilities About You (What You Bring) We're looking for people who are capable, curious, and easy to work with.

Friendly, customer service and communication skills Comfortable handling cash and processing transactions accurately Ability to stay organized and attentive to detail Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems Reliable, professional, and team-oriented You likely are: Someone who enjoys figuring things out A team player—not afraid to jump in and help Organized and attentive to the details that keep a store looking its best Comfortable staying productive without needing constant direction Bonus Points (Nice to Have, Not Required): Previous retail or customer service experience Previous cashier or point-of-sale experience Experience with stocking, merchandising, or inventory Apparel or clothing retail experience Familiarity with boating or marine products Physical abilities: Must be able to stand for long periods of time and climb ladders, as needed Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs Must be able to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom

Job Details Compensation:

$19.77 - $25.00 per hour Full or part-time (includes some evenings, weekends, and holidays)
