About the Role (What You'll Do) This is not a typical retail position. Our team helps customers identify, source, and solve problems with marine parts and equipment. This role goes beyond typical retail and is best suited for individuals with mechanical aptitude or experience working with tools, parts, or equipment. Day-to-day, you will: Help customers identify the right parts and solutions for their boats and equipment Process sales, special orders, and returns Build product knowledge across marine systems and components (training provided) Support day-to-day store operations including stocking and merchandising Work closely with a knowledgeable team to solve customer problems You'll also: Help improve workflow and efficiency Contribute to a positive, team-first environment Take ownership of your work and results About You (What You Bring) We're looking for people who are capable, curious, and easy to work with.
Required:
Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience (marine, automotive, small engines, etc.) Strong problem-solving mindset Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with customers Comfortable using computers and looking up parts or product information Reliable, professional, and team-oriented You likely are: Someone who enjoys figuring things out A team player—not afraid to jump in and help Motivated to learn and improve your skills Bonus Points (Nice to Have, Not Required): ABYC certification Previous marine or boating experience Previous auto parts or equipment sales experience Experience with outboards, inboards, or transmissions Electrical or electronics experience Military veterans are highly encouraged to apply Physical abilities: Must be able to stand for long periods of time and climb ladders, as needed Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs Must be able to maneuver around sales floor and stockroomJob Details Compensation:
