This position fosters an environment of reverence and respect and helps guide customers to make informed product decisions. Provides exceptional service to customers. This is an entry level clerk position. The incumbent of this role must be endowed and hold a current recommend. Greets customers and ascertains customers' needs Provides high-quality customer service, providing product knowledge to assist customers Develops understanding of contents and/or properties of all products to adequately serve customers Responds to customer questions regarding curriculum, proper fitting of clothing or issues of similar complexity May provide personal fitting consultation to patrons at distribution store Prepares merchandise for purchase Operates point-of-sale terminal, finalizes sale of selected products, and processes returns May assist store supervisor to ensure the store is attractively displayed, well presented, and that there is adequate inventory on the shelf May assist store supervisor with inventory and cycle counts May perform some housekeeping duties to ensure facility, equipment, and storage areas are in good condition Ability to work as scheduled and needed (including Saturdays and holidays) Assists in other operational responsibilities, as needed Part-time 18 hours per week. Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to complete internal customer service training within one month of hire Basic math, reading, computer, and cashiering skills Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well with others Ability to work under direct supervision and follow standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks Ability to work as scheduled and needed (including Saturdays and holidays) This position operates in a retail environment To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met, such as: standing for long periods of time, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 poundsPreferred:
