Parts Counter Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive services, customer service, and retail sales. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage inventory effectively while providing exceptional service to our customers. The Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and enhancing customer satisfaction. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and product selection. Perform automotive diagnostics. Manage inventory control, including stocking shelves and organizing products. Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and order fulfillment. Engage in negotiation with customers to facilitate sales and enhance customer loyalty. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and assist in inventory management tasks. Support marketing initiatives to promote products and services effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the dealership environment. Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Communicate effectively with customers and team members, utilizing phone etiquette as necessary. Experience Experience in automotive repair or service is preferred, along with familiarity with automotive diagnostics. Previous retail sales experience is essential, including knowledge of retail math and cashiering practices. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is an advantage.
