Group Sales Associate Build local demand. Equip every team.

LOCATION
: Beloit, WI, U.S.; approximately 30% travel in season
COMPENSATION
$40,000-$50,000 Annually. Medical/Dental/Vision
TEAM SCOPE
10 markets in Season 4; hands-on lead for group sales process and ticketing. Why this role exists Major League Table Tennis is entering Season 4 with ten markets, 94 matches and a hybrid operating model: some team owners will lead local sales immediately, while the league will continue to operate other markets. MLTT needs two leaders who can build local demand where the league remains responsible and serve as the league's group sales partner to every owner-operated team. Season 3 proved the strength of the live product, with an NPS of 71, and exposed the local-market gap: four of five purchasers bought only once. The opportunity is to turn episodic event promotion into consistent local presence, first-party fan relationships and repeat fandom. This role owns that turn.
ROLE SUMMARY
Build local demand through direct outreach in all 10 local markets. This person should be an outgoing, energetic and creative sales professional who is a clear self-starter with strong sales and relationship skills. This position will be involved with maximizing revenue for all MLTT clubs by selling group ticket packages, servicing group needs in market and selling premier group spaces & hospitality. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain consistent dialogue with new and existing sales leads (minimum 75 outbound calls per day) while balancing other necessary touchpoints to drive success Generate new revenue through campaign execution, cold calling, networking, and referrals Maximize existing revenue through relationship building, renewals and upsell opportunities Identify and solicit new local and regional partners for group ticket packages and group hospitality spaces Engage in effective needs analysis to maximize packaging opportunities across entities Conduct virtual & out of office appointments with prospects and customers Develop customized group programs using inventory controlled by the organization to generate net revenue and meet the needs of clients Develop and implement group incentives Ensure all groups are serviced Other related duties as required Qualifications 1-3 years of sales experience Excellent, proven cold calling skills High level of integrity Strong negotiating skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Technically proficient with Google suite products. Strong skills in presentation building Strong analytical skills Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivate Strong time management and organizational skills Strong presentation skills Being able to think creatively Ability to attend company events (30% of all in-season events) Ability to work in fast paced environment Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
