Job Description
Job Summary Diamond Auto Inc. is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Front Counter / Sales Associate to join our team at our Fond Du Lac, WI location. This role is the first point of contact for customers coming in to pick up auto parts, ask questions, and place orders. We're looking for someone who is friendly, organized, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and has a solid understanding of vehicles and auto parts. Responsibilities Greet and assist walk-in customers picking up parts Help customers with part inquiries, orders, and general questions Use automotive knowledge to help identify parts and answer customer questions Manage front counter traffic in a professional and friendly manner Answer phones and assist with customer calls as needed Look up parts, pricing, and availability in our system Communicate with yard, dismantling, warehouse, and sales team members Process payments and maintain accurate order information Help keep the front counter area clean, organized, and efficient Provide a positive customer experience from start to finish Requirements Automotive knowledge is required Previous experience in auto parts, sales, customer service, dealership, repair shop, or salvage yard setting is strongly preferred Comfortable working with customers in person and over the phone Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to stay organized while handling multiple customers or tasks Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team Basic computer skills Ability to work full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Benefits Competitive pay: $20-$30/hour based on experience Paid holidays Health and dental insurance available after the first 60 days Retirement plan available with a 3% company match after 1yr.
