Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering, cash handling, and processing transactions efficiently. Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to enhance product visibility. Support inventory management by organizing stockrooms, conducting stock counts, and replenishing shelves as needed. Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person to answer questions about products or services. Support e-commerce initiatives by helping customers place orders online or through mobile platforms when applicable. Demonstrate organizational skills by keeping the store clean, organized, and inviting for shoppers of all backgrounds; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities. Engage in outdoor work activities such as lawn care and landscape maintenance to support customer projects or store upkeep. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work and horticulture is essential. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math ensures smooth transaction processes. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—in English. Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, merchandising, and inventory management is important for success.
