Retail Sales Associate

Responsibilities:

• Perform general secretarial duties, including answering phone calls and taking messages.
• Greet customers and direct them to the right products.
• Making signage for new products that come in.
• Unloading trucks of plant materials as they come in.
• Checking out customers with their purchases and helping them load them into their vehicle.
• Communicate with inventory manager when product is low and/or needs to be ordered for customers.
• Stocking shelves, pricing products, and entering into POS system
• Watering, deadheading, weeding plants.
• General cleaning i.e sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, bathrooms, etc.
• Posting to social media and monthly newsletters.

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Cash register and customer service experience
• Proficient in office management software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
