Kick Back N Camp is hiring for a part time Campground Store Associate. If you enjoy the outdoors, the smell of a camp fire, and meeting new people, this is the summer job for you!

Summary :

As a Store Associate, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining an organized retail environment. Reporting to the Owners, your core skills in merchandising , cash handling, ice cream scooping, cleaning, and retail sales will ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers. The position would be available starting immediately through the first week of November 2026. We have 4 to 8 hour day & evening shifts between 9am and 9pm. Total hours could range from 15-25 per week. Applicants must have or be willing to obtain food handler's card (reimbursed after 30 days of successful employment). •Students are encouraged to apply, even if not available for the entire season•Responsibilities include : Transacting sales in camp store, assisting customers, taking payments, using reservation software for booking, modifying, canceling, refunding reservations as needed Communicating with guests before and during arrival to ensure a smooth check in Monitoring acceptance of terms & conditions to complete check in process Making and hanging site markers for reserved sites Enforcing campground rules as needed Providing information regarding campground activities to campers and assisting with those activities Cleaning and stocking bathhouse daily Assisting with monitoring inventory and supplies Must have or be willing to obtain food handler's permit Serving hand scooped ice cream and popcorn Assisting with activities as needed May occasionally assist with firewood and ice delivery to sites or making rounds through the campground to check on guests

Qualifications:

Strong customer service Dependability Proficient in cash handling Experience in retail sales and stocking merchandise Effective verbal & written communication skills Ability to work independently
