Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive exceptional shopping experiences. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service with a positive attitude. Operate Square POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity. Assist with merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked neatly to maximize sales potential. Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing products, and conducting regular stock checks. Maintain professional phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or coordinating store operations. Sweep floors, vacuum, dust and clean windows/doors as needed. Check mail occasionally at USPS and watch for online orders that need shipped. out. Skills Proven experience with Square POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail store setting. Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, pricing, and inventory management. Excellent communication skills to engage customers effectively and collaborate with team members. Demonstrated ability in upselling products to increase sales while maintaining customer satisfaction. Familiarity with store operations, including stocking, inventory management, and customer service standards.
