As we gear up for football season and college back in session, we are seeking a personable and vigilant Door Attendant to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety and enjoyment of our guests while ensuring a smooth entry process.

Job Summary:

As the Security and Door Attendant at Lafontaine's, you will be the first point of contact for our guests as they arrive, setting the tone for their experience. This position requires a professional and approachable demeanor, as well as a keen eye for safety and security. You will be responsible for monitoring guest entry, ensuring we do not exceed capacity limits, checking identifications, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and ensure a smooth entry process into the lounge. Monitor guest flow and capacity levels to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Check identifications and verify age requirements for entry. Enforce venue policies and dress code standards in a respectful manner. Assist guests with any inquiries or concerns they may have. Maintain a clean and organized entrance area. Collaborate with the management team to address any security or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service or security role preferred. Professional appearance and demeanor. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends.
