First Assistant Manager

First Assistant Store Manager Duties:

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Sell products and achieve sales targets
• Supervise and train store staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Store Manager for replenishment
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and reconciling sales transactions
• Assist in employee orientation and training programs
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Skills:

• Sales:

  Ability to effectively sell products and meet sales targets

• Leadership:

  Strong leadership skills to supervise and motivate store staff

• Retail Math:

  Proficient in basic math calculations related to retail operations, such as calculating discounts, profit margins, and sales figures

• Retail Management:

  Knowledge of retail management principles and practices

• Communication:

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and vendors

• Supervising:

  Experience in supervising employees and managing their performance

• Cash Register:

  Familiarity with cash register operations, including handling cash, processing transactions, and reconciling sales
