Manage inventory levels through effective stock control, purchasing, and merchandising strategies to maximize sales and minimize waste. Oversee all store operations including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and daily financial reconciliation. Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to boost sales while maintaining profitability. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, store policies, and legal requirements at all times. Conduct regular store inspections to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming environment for shoppers of diverse backgrounds by utilizing multilingual or bilingual communication skills when necessary. Skills Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic setting. Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and customer interactions. Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math for accurate sales tracking and stock control. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives to enhance store profitability. Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, recruiting processes, and shift management. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating strong cashiering skills and cash handling expertise. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff towards achieving sales goals. Familiarity with wireless sales or other specialty retail segments is a plus.
