This role is responsible for the daily operation of the restaurant including shift leadership, labor deployment, food quality, team training, and guest experience.

Unlike higher-volume locations, the Working GM is expected to be an active operational leader regularly running shifts, supporting production during peak periods, and directly coaching team members on upselling and hospitality to improve average ticket and guest retention.

This role is designed for operators who can stabilize labor costs, maintain brand standards, and grow store performance through improved execution and check average growth. Core Responsibilities1. Shift Leadership & Labor Control Lead and run peak meal periods (lunch/dinner) Create and manage weekly team schedules Adjust staffing levels based on daily sales trends Reduce overtime and idle labor Deploy team members for speed of service and order accuracy Open and close the restaurant as needed

Check Average Growth & Sales Execution Train team members on meal upgrades, add-ons, combo attachments, and sauces Ensure upsell prompts are delivered at POS, kiosk, and online Monitor daily ticket average and coach in real time Execute sampling programs and in-store merchandising Support local store marketing initiatives including flyer drops and community outreach 3. Inventory & Cost Management Manage weekly inventory counts Reduce waste and product loss Maintain accurate ordering levels Ensure FIFO product rotation Monitor prep yields and portioning

Team Development Hire and onboard hourly staff Train new hires on brand standards Develop shift leads Maintain adequate staffing for peak periods Coach team on hospitality and order accuracy 5. Operations & Guest Experience Ensure food quality meets iniBurger specifications Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas Monitor order times and guest wait times Resolve guest concerns professionally 6. Compliance Maintain ServSafe certification Follow all health department requirements Adhere to halal handling protocols Follow all iniBurger operating procedures Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Labor Cost % Food Cost % Average Ticket Order Accuracy Speed of Service Weekly Sales vs. Target Team Retention Guest Satisfaction CompensationBase Salary $48,000•$58,000 annually Performance Bonus Structure Eligible for up to $6,000 annually, paid quarterly KPI Quarterly Bonus Opportunity Labor Cost Target Met $500 Food Cost Target Met $500 Guest Satisfaction / Reviews $250 Check Average Growth Bonus Working GM earns $250 per quarter for each $0.50 increase in Average Ticket vs. prior quarter baseline.
