In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store activities, motivate and develop team members, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will drive sales growth, maintain optimal inventory levels, and uphold the highest standards of store presentation. Duties Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions to ensure smooth business flow. Lead, supervise, and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-performing retail environment. Oversee inventory management processes such as stock replenishment, merchandising, purchasing, and inventory control to maximize sales opportunities. Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to boost retail sales and meet or exceed targets. Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding to build a skilled and customer-focused team. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to resolve issues promptly. Assist with budgeting, pricing strategies, and retail math calculations to optimize store profitability. Supervise shift management duties including scheduling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Coordinate marketing efforts within the store to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Maintain organized records of sales data, inventory levels, payroll, and other administrative documentation for efficient store management. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant management roles with supervisory responsibilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling, and retail math. Experience in recruiting, training & development of staff, as well as conducting interviews effectively. Knowledge of merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and promotional planning. Ability to manage budgets, perform bookkeeping tasks accurately, and handle payroll processing. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette and problem-solving abilities. Previous experience in grocery or general retail stores is preferred but not mandatory; relevant wireless sales or grocery store experience is advantageous.
