In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily shop activities, coordinate repairs, and ensure the highest standards of mechanical excellence. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and quality in servicing a diverse fleet of diesel engines, heavy machinery, and automotive systems. Shift:

Monday - Friday 6am - 4pm Responsibilities Supervise daily shop operations, including scheduling repairs and allocating resources effectively Lead a team of skilled mechanics and technicians in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other mechanical components Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards during all repair activities Review schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic data to troubleshoot complex equipment issues Oversee the maintenance of heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and farm machinery Manage inventory levels for parts and tools; coordinate procurement as needed for timely repairs Conduct quality control inspections on completed work to guarantee optimal performance and compliance with specifications Qualifications Proven Class A equipment and heavy equipment repair experience with a strong background in diesel mechanics and automotive diagnostics Extensive knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding, and equipment assembly processes Hands-on experience with heavy truck repair, power tools usage, and equipment maintenance procedures Familiarity with schematics interpretation for electrical systems, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, and HVAC components Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent leadership skills to supervise a team effectively Valid certifications in diesel engine repair, heavy equipment mechanics, automotive electrical systems, or related fields are preferred Join our team where your expertise fuels our success!
