$77,000•$90,000 per year Job Details•We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Detailing Manager to join our dynamic engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for managing all detailing activities and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized professional looking to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement detailing schedules in coordination with project managers and other stakeholders. 2. Oversee the creation and control of models for all projects, ensuring that they meet project requirements and standards. 3. Coordinate with various teams to ensure that all drawings and specifications are accurate and comprehensive. 4. Monitor the progress of detailing activities and make necessary adjustments to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. 5. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets the highest standards. 6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. 7. Provide technical guidance and support to the detailing team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement. 8. Regularly report on the status of detailing activities to senior management, providing insight and recommendations as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a detailing management role within the engineering industry. 3. Proven experience managing detailing schedules and controlling models for projects. 4. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques. 5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate others. 6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to think strategically and analytically. 7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. 8. Proficiency in relevant software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD software. 9. PMP or other project management certification is considered a plus.
