Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Support the camp experience for guests by providing leadership and operational oversight within Forest Home's retail stores, coffee venues, and food service outlets. The Seasonal Retail Supervisor ensures daily operations run efficiently with a strong focus on stocking, inventory flow, and maintaining well-organized retail environments while delivering excellent customer service. This is a seasonal leadership position available during our Winter Camp season (January-March) and Summer Camp Season (June-September).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership and supervision to retail staff during assigned shifts Oversee daily operations across retail stores, coffee venues, and food outlets Ensure all locations are fully stocked, organized, and ready for guest service Monitor product levels and proactively restock merchandise, food, and supplies Coordinate stock movement between locations to maintain appropriate inventory level Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking incoming inventory Support inventory counts, tracking, and stock accuracy Maintain clean, organized stockrooms and retail spaces Ensure a high level of courteous customer service to all guests Monitor Point of Sale operations and enforce proper cash handling procedures Assist with training and coaching staff on stocking standards and operational procedures Address guest needs and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner Assist with shift coordination and staff coverage as needed Communicate inventory needs, low stock items, and operational updates to Retail leadership Uphold all food-handling guidelines and operational standards where applicable Supports and participate in staff spiritual life activities Performs other duties as assigned Flexible schedule able to work weekends, nights and holidays as assigned EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
At least 18 years old Previous retail, hospitality, food service, or leadership experience preferred Experience with stocking, inventory management, or operations preferred Must obtain Food Handlers Card from San Bernardino County (Forest Home will provide training and cover fees)

Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers and speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the phone.
